The Gouffre de Padirac (Lot) is the most famous chasm in the world and one of the most fascinating speleological sites to visit in Europe. It is also one of the must-see tourist attractions of the Périgord since 1889, the year of its discovery. The studio has accompanied Le Gouffre de Padirac since 2016 in the development of 360° projects.
Context: as part of the overall development project for the Gouffre de Padirac brand, the company wanted to evolve its visual identity and upgrade its range of derivative products, anchoring it in its history and values.
Proposal: to back the brand with its historical and iconographic heritage by choosing a neo-retro “Julesvernian” style in the French style, which places the brand back in 1889, the year the site was discovered. Concerning the creation of the logotype, redesigning an engraving adaptable to all types of printing, which immediately immerses the visitor in the pictorial universe of the site. Concerning the derivative products, to propose collections refocused around the discovery and exploration bathed in a neo-retro universe.
